Lx Sim is a consulting firm specialized in engineering simulation applied to product development. Whether it is to reduce the weight of a component, validate the structure of a complex system or optimize fluid behavior, Lx Sim helps your development team exceed their goals in terms of cost, lead time and performance.

Our simulations can virtually test and optimize your products with respect to fluid dynamics / heat transfer (CFD), mechanical strength (FEA) and manufacturing method (composites, extrusion, forming). Our related services include mechanical design, industrial design and 3D/2D drawing (CAD).

LX SIM INC.

More than 20 years of experience makes Axis Prototypes the Canadian pioneer in Rapid Prototyping Services and Additive Manufacturing Technologies. We also have expertise in 3D design, 3D scanning for reverse engineering and part to CAD (Computer Aided Design) comparison. We can also help clients choose from a wide array of 3D printers.
So whether you need help to design, prototype, build, manufacture, or reverse engineer a product, our expert staff can help. We will offer you the very best solutions according to the specifics of your projects.
At Axis, we are conscious of the time constraints that characterize your projects. That is why we pay particular attention to the time in which we deal with your requests, without compromising on the quality and accuracy of our services.

WE PUT THE WORD "PRO" IN PROTOTYPING
As bona fide experts in additive manufacturing, we can print plastic, plastic-like and metal prototypes for fit, form, and functional testing using the latest 3D printing technologies. However, our expertise lies beyond setting up and printing your file; we'll find the optimal build orientation of your model to yield the maximum dimensional accuracy, eliminate material redundancies, and recommend any surface finishing or secondary operations so that your part looks and feels the way you envisioned it.
SUPPORT..WITH A HUMAN TOUCH
Axis Prototypes is not a faceless DIY platform or 3D printing hub that'll leave you waiting for support when you need it. While we're big proponents of automation and self-service, nothing can replace the efficiency and efficacy of getting answers from a live representative concerning your project's needs.
WITH QUICK PRINTS COME FAST DELIVERY
ETA for polymer-based 3D prints destined for Canada or the US is between 1 and 5 business days upon receiving your digital file. We offer competitive lead times because of our preferential arrangement with couriers, high-speed commercial grade printers and streamlined quotation process. Note: weather conditions, unforeseen file changes, part size, printing volume and any post-processing services may prolong this delivery period.
HARD-TO-BEAT VALUE
On a cost-per-cubic-inch basis, our pricing is at par or below what rival 3d printing companies charge, given the same material and AM technology.
