Specialty Machines Inc.

It was 1946 the manufacturing industry in Dayton, Ohio was thriving. To help meet the rapidly expanding needs of the manufacturing industry in Dayton Ohio, William Hoyer purchased three used centerless grinding machines, and that acquisition spawned Specialty Machines Inc.

In 1953 William's son, William C. Hoyer, joined Specialty. Seven years later, he bought the company, thereby starting the second generation of ownership. In 2006 his daughter Donna (Hoyer) Suess took ownership of the company, and actively adheres to her father's operating standards.

Specialty Machines continues to provide centerless grinding services with William C. Hoyer's own words: "Fair prices, good integrity, and good quality. The bond that builds good relationships with customers."

Following this philosophy Specialty Machines Inc. has grown exponentially, while we still maintain an original customer from 1946. Our philosophy combined with our strong fiscal position keeps Specialty Machines Inc. a vital and dynamic More... company today.
