Phoenix Quality Manufacturing

Phoenix Quality Manufacturing (PQM) is staunchly bringing manufacturing back to America with a call to secure our supply lines, create new jobs in the community and support local US manufacturing.

Since the beginning of the pandemic there has been a parallel story - face masks. Shortages, panic buying, price gauging, fraudulent products, the scientific importance of wearing them, mandates and a reliance on international production.

With the country facing a market with product demand spiraling out of control, PQM was formed by a collective of executives experiencing the operational pressure brought about by shortages and worker safety. A struggle many have faced personally.

In March 2020, with the COVID-19 pandemic in full force and the country shut down, panic buying began. Toilet paper, bottled water, and canned goods were flying off store shelves, leaving standing inventories bare. In the U.S. health care industry, two critical things quickly became evident - that the domestic industry More... did not have the ability to meet the unprecedented demand for PPE, and that the U.S. lacked the means and ability to manufacture what was needed, as most PPE manufacturing had been shipped overseas. This created gridlock between the private health care institutions and the federal government, which attempted to control the national supply chain and make supply allocations using guidelines not designed for use in a pandemic. At the same time, to meet the ever-increasing demand, Chinese manufacturers flooded the market with substandard products driving up the cost of raw materials and immediately creating an unsustainable supply and demand pricing scale.

As the company works towards NIOSH approved and FDA cleared medical N95 respirators, sales of PQM FreedomAIR Civilian Grade face masks have begun. Offering direct shipping to businesses and consumers, the design was released so that quality US products with efficient filtering be made available for civilians, preserving medical grade products for front line workers.

PQM FreedomAIR face masks are 4 layer non-medical masks with 2 layers of meltblown non-woven fabric (filters particulates such as micron sized dust and allergens). The lightweight, face fitting and flat folding design offers breathability and safety for general use.

Providing direct to consumer supply gives PQM the ability to guarantee supplies as needed and thus a monthly mask club is available for subscription shipping across the continental USA.

Boxes of 25, cartons of 450 and pallets of 8,200 are all available to purchase online with free shipping while wholesale opportunities and distributors are encouraged to contact PQM.

PQM is putting their best foot forward for U.S. residents to access American Made masks with obtainable pricing from a company with ethically sourced materials and an equitable working environment in a rural community. That is the homegrown thinking that our great nation was built.
