Kent Machine, Inc.

Why Choose an ISO 17025 Accredited Gauge Manufacturer?

An inspection lab can be audited and certified to the international management systems standard ISO 9001, which is widely used in manufacturing to evaluate their systems for managing the quality of their products and services.

While ISO 9001 is a useful tool to evaluate a suppliers management system , the evaluation of a supplier against ISO 9001 does not assure you that the test, inspection, or calibration data are accurate and reliable.

Kent Machine has an ISO 17025 accredited lab that uses criteria and procedures specifically developed to determine the technical competence of our lab. Specialist technical assessors conduct a thorough evaluation of all factors in our facility that affect the production of technical data.

ISO/IEC 17025 specifically addresses factors relevant to a laboratory's ability to produce precise, accurate test and calibration data, including:

_x0095_ Technical competency of staff

_x0095_ Validity and appropriateness of More... the methods

_x0095_ Traceability of measurements and calibrations to national standards

_x0095_ Appropriate application of measurement uncertainty

_x0095_ Suitability, calibration, and maintenance of test equipment

 _x0095_ Testing environment

_x0095_ Sampling, handling, and transportation of test items

_x0095_ Quality assurance of test, inspection, or calibration data

When choosing a vendor for your next gauge project, or even for your precision machined components, you can rest assured that your products will be dimensionally correct if you choose an ISO 17025 facility. Choose Kent Machine.
