Ultimate Hydroforming, Inc.

Ultimate Hydroforming began in 1979 as strictly a Hydroforming source. Over the years we have grown to become a complete sheet metal forming and fabricating source. Today we maintain a diverse customer base.

Ultimate Hydroforming is a woman owned corporation offering 5-axis laser cutting, CMM Inspection services, stamping, fabrication, welding and deep drawn products. We manufacture an assortment of brackets, heatshields, chasis parts and turbine engine details. We have extensive background working with materials ranging from AKDQ to exotics, such as Inconel and Hastalloy. Our two modern facilities contain a complete shop with the necessary personnel, tools and equipment to do the quality work in design, engineering, tooling and manufacturing. With over 55,000 square feet and room for expansion we are committed to your projects.

Astro Machine Works

Astro Machine Works was founded in 1984 in Ephrata, Pennsylvania with a clear vision: to serve the custom machinery and precision parts needs of the area's top regional and national companies. Even through our early lean years, we tried to focus on business that fit within our vision and was selective in terms of who we worked with and the type of work we performed. We believe this steadfast commitment has paid off. With each successful project, our reputation grew, enabling us to gradually expand our customer base geographically and from an industry standpoint. Today, Astro-built machines and parts can be found across the globe, doing all types of work for some of the world's leading companies.

Electron Beam Industries

Electron Beam Welding is a reliable and cost-effective method of joining a wide range of metals. From pacemakers used in the medical industry to sensors used on fighter aircraft, Electron Beam applications are almost limitless. The welding is performed in a vacuum, therefore welds are clean and free from oxidation.

Due to the extreme density and precise control of the electrons, high weld "depth to width" ratios can be achieved, up to 20-1 is obtainable. With minimal or no distortion, Electron Beam Welding is often the final step of a production sequence.

Electron Beam welding can offer advantages such as low heat input, minimal heat affected zone and no part distortion. These attributes make it ideal for the welding of intricate final assembly products or sensors that have delicate instrumentation close to the weld joint. Precise control of the electron beam, high speed and repeatability often makes Electron Beam Welding the only viable solution to a difficult manufacturing problem.
More... The comparison of an EB weld versus conventional TIG weld illustrates how it can reduce or eliminate distortion and the need for secondary operations. Electron Beam Welding can also save money by reducing joint preparation costs and repeatable settings reduce the risk of operator error.
